Beating the Kiwis!

Congratulations to Mick Hudson (NSW), Geoff Gibson (QLD), Grant Cooke (WA) and, of course, Milton Cross (SA)! We went to Tasmania for the 2022 Supreme Australian Championships Sheepdog Trial in October, as Milton was representing South Australia in the Ted Gaby Interstate Challenge. Though the SA team didn’t go back to back (Milton and Anthony Ireland won it last time) Milton came in third from a field of 12, earning him a place in the Australian team! The New Zealand team flew over for the Trans Tasman Test at the end of the trial, in which the Aussies beat the Kiwis, bringing the Wayleggo Cup back for the first time since 2013!
